She is survived by: her children, Tammy Brown of Warsaw and Jonathan Brown of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Amy Townsend (Bradley), Joshua Lassiter (Ashleigh) and William Dave Brown; her great grandchildren, Kylie Townsend, Ellie and Kathryn Lassiter; and her siblings, Ronnie Elton Kornegay, Leon Joseph Kornegay, Johnny Kornegay, Annie Ruth Hall and Teresa Harper.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Annie Ruth Hall (290 Revelle Rd, Warsaw, NC 28398).
