She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Livingston Britt and Lillie Mae Capps Britt of Mount Olive, NC.; her husband William J. Costin, Sr.; her daughter Jeanie Carol Costin; her grandson Robert Costin; and her siblings, Charlie Britt Jr., Carroll Britt, Willie Britt, Jim Britt, Ruffin Britt, Hazel Wiggins, Fannie Jackson and Ruth Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, William J. Costin, Jr. (Kathy), Gail Costin, Angela Hines (David), Wanda Ponton (Charlie) and Lori Smith (Scotty); her grandchildren, Rebekah Roth (Laurence), Virginia Wheeler (Mike), Samantha Hines, Noah Ponton and Caleb Ponton; her great grandchildren, Lucas Wheeler, Jack Wheeler, Ellie Roth and Libby Roth; her brother Cedric Britt; and her sister-in-law Kathryn Gardner. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warsaw United Methodist Church (107 W Plank Rd, Warsaw, NC 28398). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
