She was predeceased by : her father Albert Pate; her husband Mose David Beddingfield; and her son Ray Beddingfield. She is survived by : her children, Larry Beddingfield (Pat) of Mount Olive, Mitchell Beddingfield (Nikki) of Chinquapin, Timothy Beddingfield (Felicia) of Kenansville and Kay B. Brock (Victor) of Raeford. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
