He is survived by: his wife Dean; his children, George McDonald "Don" Johnson, III (Lori) of Garner, Charlotte Johnson Bradshaw of Kenansville, Michael Wade Johnson (Susan) of Warsaw and Barbara Johnson McGee (Keith) of Warsaw; his sister Nina Johnson Carter of Surf City, NC; and his friend Melanie Register of Wilmington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
