He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stedman Duff and Eva F. Brown Duff; his wife Evelyn Torrance Duff; his son Herman Lee Duff, Jr.; his son-in-law James "Jim" Landis; and his sister Frances Atkinson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda D. White (Raymond) of Warsaw and Faye D. Landis of Warsaw; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Duff of Warsaw; and his grandchildren, Kevin White, Eric White, Johnthan Landis, Gabriel Landis, Ashley Smith and Brock Duff. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home of Warsaw (1654 NC-50, Warsaw, NC 28398). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Community Funeral Home Chapel (1654 NC-50, Warsaw, NC 28398). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the same location.
