We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2025, at the age of 64, Michael Wendell Anderson of Warsaw, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Anderson; and his daughter Kathy Garcia. He is survived by: his mother Adell Gurley Anderson; his wife Mary Nichols Anderson; his siblings, Connie Draughon (Steve) of Warsaw, Brenda Brucker (Fred) and Don Simmons (Belinda) of Fayetteville; his daughter Jamie Bonner (Ben) of Texas; his cousin Evelyn West of Faison; his close friends, Heidi Madrid, Nathan Parrish and Cynthia Madrid; his pets, Wiggles, Cocoa and Gunner; Aiyana Holloman Jacobs. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home Chapel of Warsaw. An entombment was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Warsaw First Original Free Will Baptist Church, 816 N. Pine Street, Warsaw, NC 28398.
