She was predeceased by : her parents, Sandy Mack Teachey and Fannie Pearsall Teachey; and her siblings, Wilbert Jay Teachey and Helen Arlise Miller. She is survived by : her daughters, Sonya Teachey and Tamara Ellis; her grandchildren, Tiera Vandiver, Lamia Ellis, Taekwon O. Carr, Jaevon H. Carr and Wise Roberson; and her siblings, Earl Teachey (Jackie), Lillian Teachey, Roy Teachey, Joyce Lopez (Fred), Doris Lisane and Wanda McMillian. She is also survived by nieces nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
