With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Sutton Quinn of Warsaw, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis Sutton and Alberta Strickland Sutton of Warsaw; her husband Gerald Haywood Quinn, Sr.; and her grandson Dillon James Rouse. She is survived by: her children, Carla Quinn Rouse (Rick) and Gerald Haywood Quinn, Jr. (Patricia) of Kenansville; her grandchildren, Leslie Rae Rouse, Ivey Quinn Rouse (Zach McLamb) and Gerald Haywood'Luke'Quinn, III (Madison); her siblings, Helen Sutton Steed and Charles Lee Sutton (Jane); and her sister-in-law Faye Quinn Williams.
