It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Edward Sheppard III of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward Sheppard, Jr. and Joyce Andrews Sheppard; and his brothers, Stephen and Donald Sheppard. He is survived by: his wife Frances Pittman Sheppard; his children, Carol Sheppard of Washington and Scott Sheppard (Katie) of Washington; his grandchildren, Cameron Sheppard (Christan), Latham Matkins, Lilly Kathryn Hill, Noah Sheppard and Ce Ce Sheppard; and his great grandchild Robert Sheppard.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St, Oxford, NC 27565.
