It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Emmert of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alonzo O'Neal and Sybil Leona Manning; and her daughter Janel D. Silverthorne Rowe. She is survived by: her sister Mary Joyce Modlin; her significant other Phil Emmert; and her significant other's children, Keith (Suzanne), Dennis (Roberta), Michael (Debra) and Shannon (Felix). She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as well as two nieces and two nephews.
