She was predeceased by: her parents, David Aaron Windley and Belva Lockwood Shavender Windley; and her significant other Edwin Grey Respess. She is survived by: her children, Paula R. Brown (Mike) of Decatur, GA and E. Michael Respess (Beth) of Sharpsburg, GA; her granddaughters, Laura Beth Farmer (Mark), Sarah Kovacik (Brad) and Jennifer Ivey; her great grandchildren, Harper Staack, Sydney Price (Neil), Hope Farmer, Ben Farmer, Avery Kovacik and Jacob Kovacik; and her grandson Jonathan Respess.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pantego Christian Church (192 Maple St, Pantego, NC 27860). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Pantego Christian Church, P.O. Box 141, Pantego, NC 27860.
