We are sad to announce that, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 78, Carolyn Fowlkes Moore of Washington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bynum Fowlkes and Ruth Laney Fowlkes. She is survived by: her husband Ray David Moore; her children, Brian Greenwood (Jerusha), Laney Hodges (Jimmy) of Washington and David Moore of Washington; and her grandchildren, Evie Greenwood, Amy Ruth Hodges, Max Greenwood, Laurel Moore and Sam Moore.
