With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Owens of Washington, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Owens; her son Gary Owens; her parents, EJ Harris and Margie Owens; her stepfather Bethel Owens; and her brother Johnny Owens.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Sonny Stone of Winterville, NC; her stepmother Melba Harris of Zebulon, NC; her siblings, Jeff Owens of Washington, NC, Donnie Harris (Sandy) of Youngsville, NC, Ronnie Harris (Donna) of Youngsville, NC, Stanley Harris (Geraldine) of Wake Forest, NC, Duane Harris (Tammy) of Zebulon, NC and Linda Matthews (Kevin) of Zebulon, NC; her grandchildren, Mathew Owens (Ellen) of Virginia, Crystal Owens of Kansas and Lindsey Snyder of Washington; and her great grandchildren, Harper Owens, Nevaeh Howerton, Trinity Howerton and Serenity Howerton. She is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
