It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cindy Alligood Williams of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Kermit Gene Alligood; her father Coy E. Woolard; and her in-laws, Warren "Bully" Freeman, Coy Hoover and Annie Lillian Alligood.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Ray Williams; her daughters, Tonya Alligood Scott (William David Leudesdorf, Jr.) of Greenville and Nickie Alligood Edge (Andy) of Jamesville; her stepson Dennis Ray Williams, Jr. (Jaclyn) of Lincolnton; her son John Worthy Alligood (Casey) of Washington; her grandchildren, Andrew Harold Ray Scott (Brooke), Jacob Coy Scott, Anna LaVee Scott, Reagan Riley Edge, Mason Cole Edge, Emma Gene Alligood, Samuel Allen Alligood, Josie Lynn Alligood, Alexandria Williams, Emmett Williams and Madison Williams; her great grandchild Ava Grace Scott; her mother Beaulah Faye Woolard (Snooks); her sisters, Sharon Faye Cutler, Ernestine Woolard and Daisy Lane Woolard; her in-laws, Alan L. Alligood (Cindy Rae), Charlie O. Alligood, Teresa A. Freeman, Derise A. Regal and Kathy A. Lilley; and her pet Rambo. She is also survived by loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beaver Dam Church of Christ (5125 HWY 264 E, John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27865).
