We announce the death of Cynthia York (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Cynthia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Ray Paramore and Cynthia Phrocine Boyd; her husband George Scott York; and her siblings, Edgar Ray Paramore, Jr. and Annette Tuten of Pinetown.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Scott York, Kellie Leigh York, Lisa Rae York DeProspero and Michelle York Wickes; her grandchildren, Stephen, Michael, James, Wyatt, Dutch and Caraline; and her great grandchildren, Finley and Lillianna. She is also survived by children, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
