It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Harsh of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dale had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Dale may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Liane (Vail Rumley) and Eric (Sarah Welch); his wife Virginia Edwards Harsh; and his grandchildren, Sydney and Finn Harsh.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Beaufort County Arts Council, P.O. Box 634, Washington, NC 27889.
