He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner Joseph Winstead and Betty Murphy Winstead; and his brother Warner Keith Winstead. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anne Jones; his children, Deanna Mashell Turner (Tim) of South Carolina, Joey Wayne Winstead (Erica) of South Carolina, Laura Gaskins Riggs (James) of Cove City, Billy Gaskins of Vanceboro and Sheila Gaskins of Grifton; and his grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Woolard, Brianna Faith Woolard, Melanie Dawn Winstead, Matthew Wayne Winstead, Brittney Welland, Kelsi Gorham, Daniel James Riggs, Rebekah Anne Willis, Shelbey Ayers and Josh Lewis.
