Doyle Lee Rose, 74, a resident of Washington NC, passed away at his home on Saturday June 24, 2023.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service is honored to serve the Rose family.

The American Cancer Center was near and dear to Mr. Rose; donations can be made in his honor.

“My name is Larry Quinn Jr. I had the pleasure of working with Doyle at Weir in N.C. and very closely while he worked in the Ipswich plant. In his transition to United Machine Works, we were still working colleagues and spoke on a weekly basis. Because of our similar backgrounds we would call each other to collaborate on machining problems. The conversations would move to current events or family discussions. I considered him my friend. He will be greatly missed. Please accept my condolences.”
