It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Moye (Washington, North Carolina), born in Boone, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Moses W. Moye, Jr.; her son Moses W. Moye III of Washington, NC; her parents, Kathleen McGowan and Thomas McGowan of Boone, NC; her brother Michael McGowan (Susannah); her children, Javier and Aurora of Alexandria, VA.; her aunts, Bettie Kell Runnion, Janet Kell and Barbara Kell; her uncle Tom Dorrier; her sister Suzanne Moye Edwards; Dana Duke Cox and Frances Duke Moye.
