Frederick Wilson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Wilson of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Frederick is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Frederick's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lawrence Wilson and Mary Lee Shellito Wilson; his wife Betty Lou; and his siblings, Patsy, Ann Punkin, Sue and Gerald Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Etta Wilson Waters of Washington and Fredrick Lewis Wilson (Ana) of Virginia Beach; and his daughter-in-law Dawn Wilson of Washington. He is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alligood Family Cemetery (5474 Slatestone Rd, Washington, NC 27889).
