It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Steve Cox of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gerald Steve may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald Steve touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Rogers Cox. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Murray Cox; his children, Christy Clark (Terry) of Washington and Jarrod Cox of Washington; his siblings, Heber Cox of Washington and Barbara Leggett of Washington; and his grandchildren, Zachary Clark and Brittany Clark.
