He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Corprew Sr. and Mary Eliza Clark Corprew; and his son Johnathon Peele. He is survived by: his wife Joy Lue Corprew; his children, Harry Corprew III (Tonya), Thomas Corprew (Keiana), Jason Corprew (Zolly) and Robin Peele; his siblings, Donald, Brenda Fulcher (Melvin) and Mary; and his sister-in-law Jewelette Nixon Rocky Hock (Jimmy). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pamlico Memorial Gardens (161 Avon Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
