She was predeceased by: her parents, Letha Cox, and Merton Cox, Sr.; her husband Earl Baynor, Sr.; her daughter Constance "Connie" Faye Baynor; her siblings, Dorothy Barron, Peggy Herring, Merton and Elmer Cox; and her brothers-in-law, Harley and Wayne Baynor.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Williams (Brice) and Earl Baynor, Jr. (Jacque); her adoptive son John Baynor (Tammy) of Selma; her siblings, Margaret Amy of Bath and Howard Cox (Edie) of Kennesaw, Georgia.; her brother-in-law Junior Baynor (Tomasina) of Belhaven; her grandchildren, Brice Williams, Jr. (Abby) of Greenville, Kimberly Williams Bissette (Doug) of Long Acre, Brittney Baynor Glancy (Casey) of Yeatesville and Trey Baynor (Jessica) of Long Acre; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Tanner Williams, Keegan Bissette, Maddie, Beckett Glancy, Jack, Anna Claire and Cole Baynor.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Long Acre Chapel Christian Church (24597 NC-32, Plymouth, NC 27962).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Long Acre Chapel Christian Church, 21861 Hwy 32 N, Plymouth, NC 27962.
