He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hoover Garriss and Melrose Garriss; and his brother Marlin Garriss. He is survived by: his wife Angela Jones Garriss; his daughter Josie LeeAnn Garriss (D. J.); his grandchildren, Bailee Ann Herring and Bentley Herring; and his brother Allen Garriss (Debbie).
