She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Sheppard and Esdale Popperville Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Hendrik Van Dorp Jr. (Dick); and her children, Catherine Brinn (Ted), Hendrik Van Dorp III, Amanda Gilbarte (Ray) and Lyman Dirk Van Dorp (Alicee). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
