With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Carnell Walker Jr. of Washington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carnell Walker, Sr. and Margie Haddock Walker. He is survived by: his children, Dr. James "Jimmy" Carnell Walker, III (Brandy), Reagan, Jackson, Hayes of Washington, Charles Andrew "Drew" Walker (Ashley), Trent, Hunter and Colton of Ayden; his sister Suzanne Walker (Dwight) of Albertson; and his former wife Dale Gautier Walker of Washington. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E. 15th St, Washington, NC 27888).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the charities of one's choice.
