She was predeceased by: her parents, William Warren Boyd and Pearl Respess Boyd; and her son Steve Wayne Tyson. She is survived by: her husband John Russell Tyson; her daughters, Deborah Donelly (Mike) of Washington and Robin Suggs of Greenville; her granddaughter Sarah Tyson Clark (Adam Woolard); and her great grandchildren, Conner Tyson and Levi Clark.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
