She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Pierce and Lillian Pierce; her husband John; her siblings, Handy, Walter, Sarah and Catherine; her foster sister Jean; her niece Catherine; and her nephew Alonzo St. Clair.
She is survived by: her foster siblings, Phyllis Ackin, Bernice Thomas and Thad Credle; and her nieces and nephews, Willie Lee, Clarence, Barbara, Sharon, Jeffrey Carmichael and Tony St. Clair. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.
