He is survived by: his wife Martha Leitschuh; his children, Dean Leitschuh (Cassie) of Vanceboro and Kari Leitschuh (Steven Phillips) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Jason Bridges, Jarred Bridges, Andrew Coty and Tori Leitschuh; his stepgrandson William Coty (Bill); his great grandchildren, Brandon, McKenzie and Henry; and his sister Jean Groves of Illinois.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (88 Asbury Church Rd, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
