It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Lewis (Washington, North Carolina), born in Blounts Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Louvenia Lewis; his parents, Gilbert Cleophas Lewis and Elsie Gray Lewis; and his brother Tommy Lewis. He is survived by: his sons, Chester Allen Lewis (Brenda Lewis) and Jimmie Lee Lewis, Jr. (Bobbie Ann Lewis); his sister Shirley Miller; his grandchildren, Matthew Lewis (Megan Lewis), Erin Campbell (Cecil Campbell), Heather Matter (Al Estok), Taylor Varnell (Kayla Varnell) and Emily Martin (Nick Martin); and his great grandchildren, Isabella Campbell, Conner Campbell, Elena Lewis, Roman Lewis, Jasper Matter, Morgan Matter, Kensley Martin and Brooks Varnell of Jade Estok, A. J. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
