It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Watson of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Watson and Lucy Elizabeth Garris Watson; her son Billy Lewis; and her siblings, Theodore Roosevelt Watson, Jr., Willie Watson, Lindsey Watson, Minnie Ann Watson, Anglet Watson and Betty Jean Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Dean Wallace of Washington and Brandy Lewis of Washington; her grandson Clifton Lewis of New Bern; and her siblings, William Watson (Sandra) of Pinetown, Franklin Watson (Viva) of Washington and Brenda Godley (Ronald "Pee Wee") of Washington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
