She is survived by: her children, Gene D. Bell, Jr. (Betsy) of Leland and Gina Bell of Ayden; her siblings, James Midyette of Washington, Merlon Midyette (Becky) of Washington, Robert Midyette (Debbie) of Washington, Ola Alligood of Washington, Arlene Midyette of Washington and Gayle Griekspoor (Teddy) of Washington; her grandchildren, Kacy Koch (Chris), D. J. Thompson, Jessica Bryant (Shawn), James Stalls (Autumn) and Caleb Stalls; and her great grandchild Charlotte Bryant.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home - Washington (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
