He is survived by: his sons, Scott Murphy (Kelli) of Washington and Michael Murphy of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Alura Murphy, Nixon Murphy and Marley Murphy; his niece Jennifer Murphy Cole (Chadwick) of Killeen Texas; and his great-nephew Matthew Shepherd of Killeen Texas.
