With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry B. Lewis of Washington, North Carolina, born in Blounts Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardieth Flowers Lewis and Charlie Thomas Lewis; his brother Kenneth W. Lewis; and his son Brian Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rascoe Lewis; his children, Donna Lynn Zerby (Rex), Charlie Shane Lewis (Mendi) and Carmela Lewis Mombaerts (Jay); his grandchildren, Austyn Marie Mombaerts, Rylee Jade Lewis, Madeleine Kay Mombaerts and Kamryn Reese Lewis; and his nieces, Vickie Jones of Edward, N. C. and Toni Marie Lewis of Thornhill, TN..
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service Chapel (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A burial was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at the Pamlico Memorial Gardens (161 Avon Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
