Larry Wayne Hodges Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Hodges of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Larry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Larry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Hodges Jr. and Marjorie Everson Hodges; and his siblings, James Stewart Hodges, Michael Hodges, Gregory Hodges, Keith Hodges and Barbara Black.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Debby Hodges, Tammy Hodges and Gail Hodges. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pamlico Memorial Gardens (161 Avon Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
