He is survived by: his significant other Betty Gibbs Cherry of Washington; his significant other's daughter Nell Gray Cherry; his niece Shannon Jarvis (Barrett) of Washington; his stepsisters, Margaret Fox Cutrell of Greenville and Pamela Fox Baker of Clayton; his stepmother Carolyn Fox; and his aunts, Doris May Skinner of Belhaven, Lou Skinner of Belhaven and Marie Skinner of Bath.
