She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Oliver Sr. and Ruth Bateman Oliver; her husband Tildon Jones Brooks, Sr.; her siblings, Everett Oliver (Juanita), Lillie Mae Comer (Jimmy, Sr.) and Edith Comstock; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Brooks, Alice Manning, Mary Tyer, Hazel Jones, Velma Jordan, Ruth Alligood, Virginia Woolard, Landis Rose, Wayne Grimes, Frankie Meads, Sr. and James Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Tildon Jones Brooks, Jr. (Teresa) of Fuquay Varina and Dawn Brooks Huettmann (Richard) of Washington; her siblings, Stanley Oliver, Jr. (Paula), Michael Oliver (Debbie), Glenn Oliver (Tonya), Alice Ann Meads, Virginia Grimes, Annette Rose, Teressa Cooper (Doug), Angie Cahoon (Buddy) and Cindy Jones (Cecil); her brothers-in-law, Larry Comstock and Scott Brooks, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Brittany (Matt), Rodney (Peyton), Darren (Taylor), Emily, Kirsten (Derrius), Megan and Emma (Tristen). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
