She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Smith Jr. and Lucinda Boyd Smith; and her husband William Amos Harris, Sr.. She is survived by: her son William A. Harris, Jr. (Kary) of Wesley Chapel, NC; her grandchildren, Emily Kathleen Harris and Talbot William Harris; and her brother James Louis Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Beaufort County Humane Society, P.O. Box 33, Washington, NC 27889.
