She is survived by: her daughter Payton Whitley; her parents, Linwood Braxton and Betty Braxton of Washington, NC.; her uncle Thurman Braxton of Chocowinity, NC; her aunt Karen Braxton Shearouse of Goldsboro, NC.; her cousins, David Braxton, Christy Moye, Tonya Gruenwald, Jenny Burke, Jeffery Taylor, Walter Taylor, Joey Pinkham and Troy Pinkham; and her pet Piper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
