She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Austin and Vera Blake Beacham; her husband Jack Smith, Jr.; and her sister Vanessa Jennings. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Kelley (Rebecca) of Washington, Sharon Mullis (David) of Dallas, Susan Polen of Grimesland and Jack Smith, III; and her brother Henry Austin of Washington. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
