With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Waters of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Peele and Carsie Rascoe Peele; her husband James Ray Waters; her children, William Michael Waters (Dinky) and Deborah Faye; and her sister Patricia Belyeu.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ray Waters (Katie) of Cary, Gordon Keith Waters (Cindy) of Greensboro, Katrina Lynne Little (Ty) of Washington and Katherine Yvonne Waters of Washington; her daughter-in-law Pat Waters of Washington; her grandchildren, Michelle Hill, Macree Stewart, Carsie Story, Zoë Meekins, Nathan Waters, Savannah Waters, Jonathan Waters, JJ Jefferson and Robbie Jefferson; her great grandchildren, Amber Hill, Maddox Meekins, Aislynn, Layla Story, Maisie, Shelby Stewart, Jason, Arthur Jefferson, Elizabeth and Zachary Jefferson; her sister-in-law Geraldine Waters; and her nieces and nephews, Valda, Tracy Belyeu, Tom and Ben Waters.
