She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Cordie Mae Rigney Barbour; her siblings, Kathleen Taylor, Curtis, Irvin and Reynard Barbour; and her husband Horace Norman Miller, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Horace Norman Miller, Jr. (Penny) of Washington, Gary Thomas Miller (Lisa) of Bath and Lori Miller Prescott (Mack) of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Erica Henthorn (Luke), Mack Prescott (Samantha), Horace Caleb Miller (Ashley), Joshua Miller, Kelly Wilson (Jamie), Daniel Miller and Sarah Sparks (Miles). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rosemary Church of Christ (5116 Slatestone Rd, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
