He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Payne; his children, Stacy Black of Pinetown and Ronald "Ron" E. Black, Jr. (Michelle) of Washington; his siblings, Joanne Thomas of Chesapeake, Gloria Webster of Pinetown, Brenda Black of Plymouth, Herman, Gladys, Brenda Price of Wilmington, Iris Bowen Linton of Gambrills, MD and Gayle Tetterton of Pinetown; and his grandchildren, Jessica "Taylor" Boyd, Spencer Black and Katie Black.
