She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry W. Varn and Rosalie Mixon Varn; her brother Harry W. Varn, Jr.; and her husband Billy S. Edwards. She is survived by: her son Bill (Jennifer Edwards) of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Burke (Caroline) of Greensboro, NC and Caroline of Walnut Cove, NC; her great grandchildren, Henry, Peter and Sloane; and her great-niece Arwyn Welch of Clinton, TN..
