We announce the death of Rose Marie Grant (Washington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hortense Worley Taylor and Henry Tull Taylor; and her siblings, Geraldine Taylor Heath and Lake Smith Taylor. She is survived by: her son Melvin G. Grant Jr. (Rita); her sister Alice Jean Taylor Gray; her grandchildren, Joshua Grant and Geoffery Grant (Sarah); Taylor Rain Grant and Geoffery Gene Grant Jr..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service Chapel (4500 US-264, Washington, NC 27889). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wanoca Presbyterian Church (921 East 6th Street, Washington, NC 27889) in Rose's honor.
