She is survived by: her sons, John Morris McGahey and James Duncan McGahey; her grandchildren, Sophia Lee McGahey, Morris Stuart McGahey, Sally Elaine McGahey and Michael James McGahey; her stepgrandchildren, Parker Nelson Sheppard and Mary Scott Sheppard; her brother Ted Day; her husband Thad Morris McGahey; her sister Mary Day Moore; and her brother-in-law Stuart Beckwith Moore. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
