He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Leon Cahoon and Patricia Lea Alvis Cahoon; his wife Julie Marie Midgette; his sons, Derrick Cahoon of New Haven, CT and Christopher Cahoon of Plymouth; his brothers, Timothy Leon Cahoon (Shea) of Belhaven, William Patrick Cahoon (Mariela) of Grantsboro and Billy Lee Cahoon (Melissa) of West Bradenton, FL; and his mother-in-law Hazel Midgette of Plymouth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
