He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Mildred Wahab Cahoon; his wife Doris Raburn Cahoon; his sons, Tommy Cahoon and Charles Cahoon (Gwen); and his sister Alberta J. Cahoon.
He is survived by: his sons, Joey Cahoon (Sharon) of Greenville and Jeffrey Cahoon (Shelly) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Matthew Cahoon (Susan) of Greenville, Jenny Evans (Zack) of Raleigh, Ehtan Cahoon of Greenville, Tommy Cahoon of Cary and Cadence Cahoon of Swan Quarter; his great grandchildren, Warren Cahoon and Haley Cahoon; and his brother William Joseph Cahoon of Free Union.
