We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2024, at the age of 91, William Ira Cochran Jr. (Washington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William I. Cochran, Sr. and Priscilla Harris Cochran; and his grandson Patrick Cochran. He is survived by : his wife Betty; his sons, William I. Cochran III (Cindy) of Washington and Richard A. Cochran of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Emily Cochran Martin (Brady) of Asheville, Kyle Cochran (Sara McKinney) of Sanford, John Paul Cochran of Charlotte, Grace Cochran of Richmond and Virginia; his stepdaughters, Stephanie Holder of Wilmington and Suzanne Hughes of Old Fort; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Holder, Braxton Mira-Knippel, Savannah Mira-Knippel and Abigail Holder; and also Cooper Cochran of Sanford.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (101 N Bonner St, Washington, NC 27889).
