She was predeceased by: her parents, Heber Richard Woolard and Martha Elizabeth Wallace Woolard; and her husband William David "Billy" Singleton. She is survived by: her son David Frank Singleton (Polly) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Singleton, Mary Helen Singleton and William David "Will" Singleton; and her brothers, Garland Richard Woolard and Edison Hassell Woolard.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (180 E 15th St, Washington, NC 27889).
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the charity of one's choice.
